New Release: “Baroque Dégradé”, di The TURCOS and the LITTLE DEVILS meet LOUP UBERTO
Roma, 10 ottobre 2025 – Esce oggi “Baroque Dégradé“, il nuovo disco, in collaborazione con Viande Records, nato dall’incontro tra LOUP UBERTO, the TURCOS e the LITTLE DEVILS, durante una breve ma intensa permanenza a Napoli.
Un lavoro di musica popolare contemporanea, essenziale e artigiana, che rifiuta tanto la nostalgia quanto la proiezione verso il futuro, scegliendo l’imperfezione come linguaggio e il processo come forma. Il disco esplora timbriche insolite e strumenti tradizionali rivisitati.
Tra amplificazioni, micro-interferenze ed elettroniche domestiche, il suono si fa materia viva, documentando un gesto collettivo e condiviso.
Concepito come un atto di ascolto e resistenza, “Baroque Dégradé” rende omaggio a chi ha saputo liberare l’immaginario del Sud, restituendolo alla sua autenticità più profonda e vitale.
Rome – Ottober 10th, 2025: Baroque Dégradé, released today in collaboration between Folderol and Viande Records, is the unexpected result of a fleeting yet electrifying meeting between LOUP UBERTO, the TURCOS, and the LITTLE DEVILS during a short residency in Naples.
The album feels like contemporary folk stripped to its bones—handcrafted, immediate, and stubbornly imperfect. It refuses the comfort of nostalgia as much as the temptation of futurism, choosing instead to dwell in the rawness of process. Here, traditional instruments are twisted, timbres are unsettled, and the “mistakes” become part of the music’s grammar.
Amplified textures, micro-interferences, and hacked-together electronics turn sound into living matter, documenting a collective gesture rather than a polished artifact.
